April 21 to April 27 marks National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness week.
While we’re encouraging people to consider donating a kidney to Kathryn, we’re also asking people to register to be an organ donor upon their passing. We’d like to remind Kathryn’s friends and family to please consider making a monetary donation to a kidney health association to aid with research into kidney disease, its treatment, and prevention.

Please Help Kathryn Regain her Health and Independence
Hi everyone, we’re Lynne Fraser and Rosemarie Battaglia. We’re supporting our good friend of over 40 years, Kathryn Whaley, who is facing a life-threatening health challenge.

Kathryn’s kidney function has plummeted in recent months and she’s now on dialysis three times a week. And she’ll be on dialysis for the rest of her life unless we can find a donor for a new kidney.

While Kathryn is on the list for a donor kidney, the wait could take between five to seven years. We’re trying to expedite the process through a living kidney donation.
